New High-Performance Glove Line Designed by Mechanix for Mechanics
VALENCIA, Calif. (November 2007) - Mechanix Wear, the first company to develop and introduce high-performance work gloves designed specifically for mechanics, has been back in the garage asking questions to top race mechanics, evaluating their feedback and studying their every move. The result is the revolutionary next generation Mechanix Racing Technology (MRT) line of cutting edge hand protection designed by Mechanix Wear to protect the mechanics most valuable tool - their hands.

The MRT line consists of three next generation gloves - the MRT Original™, MRT M-Pact® and MRT M-PactÆ2. All three styles have a unique new look.
The MRT Original features a new wrap-around rubber molded wrist enclosure with a tapered hook and loop pull-tab that virtually disappears into the cuff for a streamline profile. All new 4-way stretch Spandex top, exclusively designed to improve fit and feel, forms to any shaped hand with exacting dimensions. The breathable Clarino® OW 927 palm construction adds durability while providing 30% more water and oil resistance. A separate Spandex stretch panel molds around the thumb to enhance fit and performance. The new tapered finger stretch side panels mold between fingers to eliminate bunching.
The MRT M-Pact provides all of the same exacting features as the MRT Original and adds another protection layer utilizing a sonic welded molded rubber top anatomically engineered to flex without binding. Anatomically cut and positioned EVA foam palm pads, combined with a second layer of Clarino MWX-2 leather, enhance durability and comfort. The rubberized sure grip thumb and index finger material provide durability and grip power.
The MRT M-Pact 2 is designed to protect against extreme impacts. Features include a rubberized sure grip material covered EVA palm heel pad and fingertips; heavy-duty molded rubber finger protection and EVA high profile, deep ribbed accordion knuckle protection. Combined with a reinforced airprene cuff for improved comfort, this glove offers functional protection like no other glove.
All three glove designs are 100 percent machine washable and will not stretch, shrink or harden with repeated washings. Available sizes range from small to XXL.
